    During the summer we received a telephone enquiry from a lady in Wigston. The lady told us she thought she may have a wasp nest but it was her son’s birthday and to celebrate they were having a party in the garden. She was worried that the wasps would bother the children at the party or worse still one of them may get stung.

  2. Problem

    We always respond as fast as we can to call-outs and promised we would get to her quickly. When we arrived at the house we surveyed the property and found lots of wasps were heading for an extractor fan vent outside the kitchen. We could see them entering the vent which had to mean they had built a nest in the wall cavity.

We quickly put on our protective clothing as we’re not brave enough to attempt to tackle a wasp nest without it and set about getting rid of the wasps. After treating a nest there are always a few wasps left buzzing around so we reassured our customer they would soon be gone in time for the party.
